The IELTS (The International English Language Testing System) exam assesses the language proficiency of people who want to study or work where English is used. It has a nine-band scale to identify levels of proficiency, from non-user (band score 1) to expert (band score 9).
All four language skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking) are measured for both the General Training and Academic versions of the test.
The General Training version can be useful for:
· living and/or working/studying abroad;
· participating in professional training and educational events;
· becoming eligible for language compensation benefits at companies; and,
· skipping the preparation year at university.
The Academic version can be useful for:
· applying to or studying in bachelors- and masters-level education at universities abroad;
· becoming eligible for language compensation benefits at companies; and,
· skipping the preparation year at university.
In collaboration with the test taker, CLS Center creates a unique program for each student, based on their current level of English, their timetable, and their target score.
